MononoMori's Website Just Got a Proper Redesign
A piece of feedback from a Japanese user was the push I needed to finally give the website the attention it deserved. The new site is designed so that anyone visiting for the first time can understand what MononoMori is, who it's for, and what it can do — within seconds.
Just received a report from a user that under certain conditions, iCloud sync conflicts with data imports, potentially causing data to disappear. For a cataloging and journaling app, data safety is always the number one priority!
Because of this, I’ve decided to pause all new feature development for the next two days to dedicate 100% of my focus to overhauling data management and fixing these iCloud sync issues.
Unfortunately, the user didn’t leave any contact info, so I couldn’t reach out to let them know that a fix is actively underway. If you happen to report bugs or submit feedback in the future, please consider leaving a contact method (like an email) so I can keep you posted on our progress!
Stayed up until 4 AM last night wrapping up this week’s new release, and it was officially approved and launched on the App Store this afternoon!
Seeing users on Xiaohongshu enjoying the new update and sharing such positive feedback made all the late-night work totally worth it. On top of that, today we crossed a milestone of over 300 active users!
Feeling truly grateful and thrilled to see people enjoying the app. Looking forward to making it even better!
Version 2.0.3 of MononoMori has been submitted to the App Store for review and will be available for update very soon!
In this update, we’ve focused on refining the Space Management and Memory Forest UIs based on your feedback. We’ve also added category sorting, a newly redesigned share card, and custom watermark support.
Hope these little enhancements make archiving your belongings even more pleasant and mindful!
